Unlike pollution sources of energy like coal, oil, gas, and nuclear that require large plants often hidden deep in industrial backwaters, renewables tend to be highly visible and vibrant elements of our neighborhoods and scenery. REimaginations is dedicated to celebrating the presence of these new energy sources, and is actively seeking artists who have learned how to capture their beauty.
REimaginations teamed up with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) to host an exhibition of wind art during AWEA's 2006 annual conference and trade show in Pittsburgh, PA. We are working to have another exhibit at AWEA's 2009 conference in Minneapolis.
Reimaginaions is continually looking for wind, and other renewable art for our web site and other future exhibitions. Please contact us with your works of art, ideas, comments or questions.
Reimaginations is also on the lookout for other venues to host the exhibit. If you are interested in hosting the exhibit, or have ideas of who might be, please contact us.
